Peet van Rooyen is a property law attorney, conveyancer and notary and joined the firm at our Cape Town Branch in 2015. Peet obtained the BA and LLB degrees from the then Potchefstroom University in 1997 and obtained the Masters Degree in Law from the University of Stellenbosch in 2015. He commenced his career as a lawyer as a member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in 1998 and completed the pupillage program and bar examination after having been admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa. Turning to the attorneys profession in 2001, he was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2002, a conveyancer in 2004 and a notary in 2014. Peet finds the technical aspects of conveyancing challenging and enjoy assisting clients and estate agents with problem solving in regard to property transfers.
