JD is a director at Dykes van Heerden (Gauteng) Inc and obtained his LLB degree from the University of Pretoria with distinction in 2015. JD has a vast range of litigation experience and often appears in matters in both the Magistrates and High Courts. He also has right of appearance in the High Courts of Gauteng. JD joined a prestigious Law firm as an associate attorney where headed his own litigation department until July 2019. In August 2019 JD joined the Dykes van Heerden team. JD was appointed as the Head of the Client Satisfaction Department in January 2020 and thereafter promoted to director of Dykes van Heerden (Gauteng) Inc. He attends to, amongst others, dispute resolution and mediation between sellers and purchasers whilst still litigating in a vast array of legal fields, chief among which is family, contract and property law.
